The design of a new top by workwear brand Simon Jersey is based on Christian Dior’s iconic peplum design of the 1940s.

The top can be worn with skirts or trousers for a feminine look that, thanks to layering, is also said to be comfortable.

The new colours for 2014 include Plum (a dark purple) and Graphite grey as well as classic Black.
