The relaxing treatment is designed to free the body and mind of all tension
Placing the body and mind in a sensorial cocoon, ‘Beyond the Water’ is a new signature treatment at the Molitor Spa by Clarins in Paris.
The 1,700m2 spa is devoted to water and its benefits, and features 11 treatment rooms with hammams, saunas and sensorial showers.
Clarins’ new face and body treatment has been created exclusively for Molitor, which it says has been “choreographed like a ballet, with unique aquatic sensations”.
The experience begins in the relaxation room with the soothing effects of Wave Dream, a subtle play of lights and holograms on the ceiling to soothing music. Composer Thomas Madrid has created a special harmonious musical atmosphere for the entire treatment.
This is followed by a relaxing foot bath before the treatment itself begins. Hot aquatic cushions are placed under the neck and warm cushions under the feet to create a sensation of floating, before a series of smooth, rhythmic sweeping movements ensure tensions disappear while providing a feeling of relaxation.
