The company has appointed former Power Plate managing director David Morrell as managing director of Styku Europe – a new entity which will target health club and boutique operators on the old continent.
Morrell will now oversee all distribution, as the company looks to benefit from the increased awareness and interest in 3D scanning technology.
“We’ve had tremendous success early on with partners in Spain, Germany, and our own efforts in the UK," Morrell said.
"We’re now actively engaging partners in countries throughout greater Europe to expand operations further.
“We look forward to helping many other facilities realise the power of 3D body scanning to enhance customer experience and revenue.”
The existing European Styku distributors welcomed the move.
In a statement, RocFit – which distributes the tech in Spain – said: “Since becoming a distributor in 2016, we’ve experienced some great success and we look forward to what the future holds as Styku increases its European footprint and raises awareness of the brand."
