Squash court decorating specialist, Decorators Warehouse has launched a new, own label, water-based paint system.
Offering a drying time of approximately 24 hours it is said to have none of the ventilation and installation problems associated with normal solvent-based products.
The DWP Squash Court Paint System, created in partnership with the UK's leading independent surface coatings manufacturer, Steyport, is applied in two stages with both an undercoat and topcoat to offer a hardwearing, smooth and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Andy Browning, manager of Decorators Warehouse, said: “Although the traditional oil-based product is suitable for winter months, we wanted a quality water-based alternative for summer jobs when the actual decorating of squash courts can become unbearable due to heat and ventilation problems.
“We approached Steyport with the idea and came up with a solution that was technically superior and that met all the criteria.”
