Call Systems Technology (CST) has launched the C-3105, a new DECT phone handset designed specifically for the hospitality sector.
In many sites, staff members have to carry two or more devices - such as pagers, radios and phones - to keep aware of alarms and messages.
The C-3105's critical messaging server (CMS) handles all communications, routing everything through the one handset: voice, alarms and SMS texts.
With voices easily drowned out in busy environments, the new handset's high quality audio system means that conversations can be heard more easily, while a built-in vibration feature means users can always tell when they are wanted, even if they can't hear the ring.
The system offers colour-coded graphics so alarms from specific areas or departments can be instantly recognised.
CST’s new handset features a rubberised exterior to protects it from drops and makes grip easier, while the IP65 rating is proof against hazards like water and dirt. The extended lifetime batteries give extra-long talk time between charges.
For busy staff there are two hands-free options, with the C-3105 offering both a built-in headset jack and a bluetooth function.
Other features include an extra function key, mounted on the side, which can be used to dial a pre-programmed number.
