Aveda's Light the Way candle Aveda has launched a limited edition ‘Light the Way’ candle in support of Earth Month this April.
The company is donating 100 per cent of the RRP1 of the candle to Global Greengrants Fund, a nonprofit organisation that channels high-impact grants to grassroots groups working to solve environmental problems around the world.
Aveda says it has raised $9m (€8.4m, £6m) through sales of the candle since 2006.
This year, the images from the Light the Way candle carton were created by children living in the region of Manakara, Madagascar, who benefited from Earth Month funded water projects.
Each candle is made with 100 per cent certified organic essential oils, including vanilla, cinnamon and ylang ylang from Madagascar, as well as naturally-derived soy and plant waxes.
