Silke Frank says FIBO is expanding its offer to the industry
Fitness trade show FIBO will be launching a two-day business summit on the African continent, as it widens its presence worldwide.
The 1st FIBO Fitness Business Summit South Africa, which will take place in Cape Town on 7-8 November, will deliver insights into the industry’s latest innovations.
The symposium is aimed at club managers, trainers, instructors, physiotherapists and operators of health clubs. Topics will include customer retention strategies, market figures for the African and global fitness and health market, and opportunities and risks of digital technology.
Silke Frank, FIBO director, said: “Not only are we systematically continuing the internationalisation of FIBO, we’re also expanding our offer to the industry to bring together providers and users in exciting markets for direct talks.”
The summit is being hosted jointly by FIBO organiser Reed Exhibitions Deutschland, Reed Exhibitions South Africa and the European industry association EuropeActive.
FIBO China will be taking place in September this year and its innovation tour will be travelling through Europe with innovative fitness and health know-how in January and February 2018.
