New room planning concepts using water, light and acoustics will be revealed at the Beauty Dusseldorf show in March 2014.
Aquamental Spa has created new room concepts for relaxation, creative or therapeutic spaces, spas, wellness facilities, thermal baths and clinics, as well as hotels, companies or public spaces.
It has seven room concepts: Circles, Columns, Deep Sea, Flux, Torus, Swing and Stonefly.
In the Columns concept, the user enters a chaotic pendulum system of water columns.
Transparent, water-filled columns of various height and thickness are connected with a system of pipes. A pressure impulse causes the system to vibrate, which in turn causes the water level in the columns to vary, creating a wave-shaped room pattern.
Light sources in the columns project the movement of the water into the room.
Aquamental Spa introduces room concepts
The columns are transformed into 'sound columns' through pressure transducers, generating distinct tones varying with the water level.

AQUAMENTAL SPA was developed by Daniel Lathan, who holds a Masters of Business and Engineering. Lathan is the Director of Wellness Innovation at the German Wellness Association, and has been a successful consultant and lecturer for many years. The element water is the focal point of AQUAMENTAL SPA. In his innovative approach, Daniel Lathan demon-strates how individual associations are avoided in room planning, allowing new realms of perception to emerge. These room concepts are suitable as relaxation, creative or therapeutic spaces, spas, wellness facilities, thermal baths and clinics, as well as hotels, companies or public spaces.
