The AlterG mobile showroom
A NASA-engineered treadmill is set to take-off after a mobile showroom was launched to enable to enable potential customers to trial the technology on their doorstep.
AlterG’s ‘Anti-Gravity Treadmill’ uses the latest in advanced differential air pressure technology (ADAPT) to ‘unweight’ the user by as much as 80 per cent in precise one per cent increments, offering a unique method of training or rehabilitation. Using the treadmill can also accelerate weight loss.
The AlterG treadmill applies a precise and comfortable lifting force to the body, so people can move naturally and pain free. Those interested in trialling the technology can now book a slot to receive a demo at a convenient time and location thanks to the mobile showroom.
“The Anti-Gravity Treadmill needs to be experienced to fully appreciate how it works and the benefits it provides,” said Trevor Donald, sales director at AlterG.
Available in two models, the P200 can reach a higher speed of 18mph and is designed for professional sports people or to enhance performance, while the M320 is predominantly used for physical therapy and medical applications.
